Our Story

Miami Woodworking has been designing, producing, and installing fine architectural and custom woodwork for nearly thirty years. What began as a single craftsman’s passion for working with wood has grown into one of Southwest Ohio’s most respected custom woodworking shops — but the founding principles remain unchanged: uncompromising quality, honest craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the material.

Our shop in Lebanon, Ohio is where every piece begins its journey. From the initial design consultation to the final coat of finish, each project passes through the hands of our experienced team of master cabinet makers, finishers, and installers. We never outsource our work, and we never cut corners.

Our Mission

Customer service is our number one goal. Your designer will take you through the entire process, from planning, measuring, selections and ordering through completion. Different than the “big-box” stores, this is all we do.

We believe that custom woodwork should be built to last — not just for years, but for generations. Every joint is cut with precision, every surface is hand-finished, and every installation is completed with care. That commitment to excellence is what has kept our clients coming back for nearly three decades.

Our Team

Our team brings a combined 200+ years of woodworking experience to every project. Led by owner Ken Brewsaugh, who has spent over 45 years in the industry, our crew includes master cabinet makers, custom finishers, color specialists, CAD designers, and skilled apprentices — all united by a shared passion for the craft.

Phyllis Brewsaugh’s fun-loving and light-hearted nature helped shape the culture of Miami Woodworking alongside her husband Ken. Her warmth and spirit continue to inspire our team every day.
